You are looking at a gorgeous solid gold pendant, set with an authentic 1984 South Africa 1/2 oz Fine Gold Krugerrand BU Uncirculated Coin. Obverse: Classically portrays the likeness of Paul Kruger, South Africa's first and only president, along with "South Africa" in Afrikaans and English. Reverse: Along with the year of minting and Gold weight, the image of the national animal of South Africa, a Springbok antelope. The coin bezel is well designed with classic scrolls, about 1.6"(40 mm) x 1.3"(33 mm), and is made of 14K Solid Yellow Gold. The coin is 27 mm diameter, backside 4-prong set, and you can see both sides of the coin. The bail will fit a 4mm chain. The whole piece weighs 21.2 grams. I designed and made this pendant myself, which is a brand new one and has never been worn or used before.
