The 2021 1oz South Korean 1 Clay Gold ZI:SIN Taurus is an addition to the ZI:SIN "The Twelve Guardians" Series. KOMSCO, the creator of this popular coin, issued the 2021 coin as the fifth release of the series. ZI:SIN are the Twelve Guardians each assigned to protect the twelve directions of Korean mythology.
Whenever a specific guardian is on duty, they are responsible for destroying demons and wiping out any wrongdoing. They are also known as the commanders of god's army using their mythical talents and abilities to ward off demons and other creatures.
This Korean medallion is the fifth release of the ZI:SIN series. This year's release is especially significant as there are only 500 coins minted, making it one of the rarer pieces in the series.
Also, minted in 0.999 pure gold, this medallion is a beautiful addition to any collection. The obverse features the Gwi-myeon-wa surrounded by the year, fineness, and country of issue. The reverse includes a depiction of the guardian Taurus garnished in battle attire shown examining his sword over an anvil. Not only are these great 1oz options, they also offer a very competitive re-sale price given their limited mintage and low introductory premium!
The coin comes in a protective capsule with protective packaging.
