ANTIQUE ENGLISH 15K GOLD DOUBLE GEORGE III GUINEA COIN LOCKET PENDANT c1880. A super heavy quality antique English, solid 15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) double-sided locket pendant; finely made, the front & back formed from solid 22 carat gold George III guineas, opening to reveal space a hinged compartment for photographs. Lovely quality, very collectible & so wearable! CONDITION : Some detail loss to coins - see pictures.
Slightest signs of wear to locket commensurate with age and use. DATE/MARKS : Coins dated 1775 & 1790, mounted in the 19th century. DIMENSIONS : 27 mm diameter (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
