I have researched it to death, and cannot find another like it; however, we DO know it is genuine Ed Levin--he did do a lot of custom work, and this was most likely a custom-made ring. The ring is solid and very heavy 18k gold, and is inset with some sort of 14k gold coin in a bezel. Looks possibly Iranian or Egyptian, with possible hieroglyphs and a standing bird Ibis? And some raised marks around it.
It is handmade, obviously--you can tell how the bezel was crimped around the coin. The underside is solid gold. The round face measures 5/8 in diameter. It weighs 8.1 grams, is a size 6, and is in MINT condition. If you collect Ed Levin and want a one-of-a-kind ring, this one is great!
