This impressive vintage necklace was crafted from solid 18k yellow gold, 16 strands of genuine cultured pearls, and a genuine Spanish "Piece of Eight" coin. The pearls are well-matched in their golden ivory color and great luster. The coin is most likely from the early to mid 1600's and is nicely bezel set in solid 18k yellow gold. Each end of the necklace hooks into the coin's frame to complete the necklace.
