Vintage 22k Gold US One-Dollar Coin cuff links (1854 1856 &)
Apparently the Liberty Head was also dubbed "the Indian Princess". (Note that photos were taken in various lighting conditions to provide as much detail as possible, but first picture is the most accurate for color). Family heirloom and interesting conversation piece. Description according to a professional appraisal in June 2018.
Each cufflink is made using two gold coins joined with chain soldered to each coin. One cufflink is a 1856 one dollar US coin and a one dollar US gold coin which the date is only partial visible, the date is covered by the soldering. One cufflink is a 1854 one dollar US coin and a 1858 one dollar US gold coin.
The coins are made from yellow gold tested to be approximately 22 karat yellow gold, and are joined with 3.6mm cable chain tested to be approximately 9k white gold finished with a bright polish.
